Brian Allen serves as Chair of the Northwest Insurance Council, bringing a wealth of experience from his leadership role at Grange Insurance Association, where he is the Chief Risk Officer & Corporate Secretary. His career reflects a strong commitment to fostering resilience and innovation in the property and casualty insurance industry.

An insurance strategic leader with expertise in underwriting, risk management and corporate governance, Brian is passionate about enhancing the industry’s ability to meet evolving challenges, particularly in regions prone to natural catastrophes.

Brian is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and actively participates in professional initiatives that drive collaboration and positive impact within the property and casualty insurance industry. Brian received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Providence College and his Master’s degree in Insurance Management from Boston University.
